Talking Cobb Accessport for BRZ/FRS

Hey Fellow 86er's
I have been talking to the guys at COBB Tuning for a couple weeks now. As some of you guys may know already COBB is the biggest tuner for Subaru, and many other cars. They have a device called the Accessport that easily lets you connect to your cars ECU, and safely flash it to certain maps they have extensively pretested. There maps with some bolt ons help make more hp/tq (god knows the twins need more of both). You can also choose to take your car to certain tuners (like Yimi sport in Santa Clarita) and have your ecu flashed to fit your specific needs, or cars. The only thing is COBB is hesitant to make an Accessport for the twins, because they dont feel there is enough demand for the device. Now I can go on and on about how great this device is, and i invite you guys to check out the accessport specs, and details. But if we can get enough people who are willing to buy the accessport, or show interest for it, COBB will be willing to make one for the twins. So I turn to you guys who are enthusiast like me and really want the most out of your car to post in this thread if you are interested, and i will update this thread everyday to see how many people are. If we get enough interest the Accessport will begin production ASAP. I thank you all for taking the time to read this and sincerely hope any of you will chime in on what you think.

Plenty of people are interested in tuning via hand held devices. They can't come to the forums and read? Cobb, they could have made a bigger splash before OFT. Tell them to come interact...

Meh... No need for it at this point. That boat's been missed. There's no gap in the market for them to fill.

If it was last year when we only had Ecutek as an option, sure. But now that OFT is here and other options exist aside from Ecutek, they missed the boat big time. They were quite adamant to queries for AP's last year by stating that they only want to focus on FI applications and didn't see the BRZ/FRS/GT86 market as something they wanted to be involved with.

I'd be all over it. I had an AP for my Focus ST and it was amazing!
Now.. I know we won't see anywhere near the power increase that I saw on that platform, but it's a solid tune and a great product.
If they're willing to make it for the Ford Focus, then say they won't for the twins because of a lack of marketing potential then that's just bullshit.
Open ANY tuning magazine. Our cars are all over the pages, while the Focus might show up twice a year!
However, last I spoke to a Cobb rep. I was told they will no longer support any NON turbocharged vehicle.

Cobb... if you offer it... I'll buy it right this very moment!

I heard a rumor they've had a working prototype a while ago but scrapped it.
