if they're willing to replace it then it's totally your call... some people would rather keep the body work/repair work to a minimum, fearful that the more you let people mess with your car, the worse things could get. e.g., what if you take it in for a new bumper, the paint doesn't match right, they scratch the headlight in the process, now it snowballs into you not having your car for weeks, etc. Just more pain than anyone bargained for. Not saying that will be the case here, but you know, worst case scenario.

Yeah I thought the same :/ I just hate seeing those scratches. My old car had a 3 stage pearl paint and it had a lot of custom body work, shaved trunk etc and my shop was able to match everything perfect. Paint match can be perfect if the shop knows what they are doing.
here are some photo's of my old car. Everything was perfect. She would get touched up monthly. I spent so much in paint lol

I was hung up on numerous times without raising my voice or saying anything. They acted very unprofessionally and they should know. I'm not going to let them bribe me into a good survey.

Here are some pics of the damage. As you can see they started to drill in the wrong spots causing drill bit marks.

With my OCD this is killing me.
I have the same marks.. Mine are from where they screwed the bolts to tight and marred the plastic from them sticking thru.. I guess the paper plate that says scion needs to be torqued down lol.. I took off my plate holder.. Said damn.. That's it.. I have all sorts of scratches and chips now.. But I knew I was going to working where I worked.. I've had the windshield replaced once and now It has another nice big chip.. Scratches on the hood.. And roof.. What looks to be a factory bubble in the paint on the roof.. It's actually looks like a old school rust bump.. And then three weeks after I got it a guy backed into the side of it.. I just popped the dent out the best I could..

That said.. Valley hi in Victorville ca where I got my car are great.. Turning the horn off when I lock unlock the car had no questions asked, and when I went back to have the DRL turned off again, no questions asked both with out appointments... Now d!ck Poe in El Paso.. They are a bunch of dumb asses.. Threw a autozone oil filter on my car and the service manager asked why I was complaining because I didn't have to pay for anything.. I couldn't stand them

Glad SOA took care of you.. Scion took care of me when I called and told them about d!ck Poe and added another year of services on the house
