Hey ATL BRZ, I'm loving the look of the shorty antenna, but I also do like listening to the radio at times (Kidd Chris on 96.1 in the morning - lulz). I read somewhere that the shorties won't give you as good a signal as the regular antenna. Have you noticed any difference?

Honestly haven't listened to FM once in mine yet, but XM works fine in my garage. My antenna thread already has some replies from folks with the $10 shorty installed, check it out: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13282

Deleted and plugged hole for noise generator and all intake resonators, and installed an Apexi drop in filter! Took about 30 minutes.

Took 5 minutes to install all 4. Fronts come out straight from the headlight assembly with the hood up, the rears you just have to pop the rivets out of the trunk liner and pull it back to get access to the tail light housings and then pull the bulbs out and swap them.
Looks great!!

Did you use the same bulbs for the rears and the fronts? Is that the exact item and buyer you used (the one u linked)?

That is absolutely sick. I'll have to remember to get something similar or make my own. I just wonder how does it stand up against the heat so far? It looks like it would do pretty well.

Well I got my windows tinted a couple days after installing this knob so that helps a lot with the interior heat in general, but it's really not bad at all. The knob has never been too hot to touch after the car has been out in the sun. If you buy a Flossy knob, first make sure you get a shorty so it clears the reverse gear selector, then secondly I'd recommend using some plumbers tape on the threads of the shifter and then trimming a rubber garden hose washer to fit snugly (without warping) down into the knob when upside down. The plumbers tape keeps it from rattling and the rubber washer helps you tighten it down with perfect engraving alignment.

Had a lot of fun at Road Atlanta this weekend with the local Porsche Club instructing a group 1 student (E36 M3 5MT) and talked to countless interested folks about the BRZ.

More pics inbound, I purchased 5 high-res from the photographer that was snapping them from some great spots around the track.

Finally got the pics from Road Atlanta last weekend! Please excuse my goofy ass smile, I was pretty excited to have all that open track and no cars in sight as bunch of cars in front of us pitted by mistake in a chain reaction after two laps. This was a touring session with my student to show the line, braking zones, etc. I wasn't doing much instructing, more laughing about how awesome this car is on a track. Touring speed limits were ignored for the remainder of the session
