Found the leak with air pressurizer and soapy water. Loads of bubbling from the areas circled and probably more below the intake pipe. I believe the gaps were there from over-tightening the hose clamp and caused it to deform overtime. |

This is the leak in my intake tube. Pretty big, dont you guys think? Anyways, waiting for Sprintex to send me the invoice. Fingers crossed that this is what is causing my vacuum leak. Last edited by kev0; 07-14-2019 at 09:16 PM. |

I would still get that leak at your intake pipe squared away. But you might finally be good to go now. |

Welp, pretty sure I found the last major leak in my SC. Anyone know how to fix this..? Preferably something I can do at home and not order a new one. |

https://www.ft86club.com/forums/show...postcount=8496 Lol at least you found it. Not much you can do to fix that and reuse it. Just Get a new one. Could try JB weld and tape for a temporary fix. Just don’t mess up the hose if you do. |

Definitely a good idea to learn as much as you can about your car and the sprintex system in general as there is a lot more to it then just install/setup but maintaining, troubleshooting, and being able to tell/know if/when an issue happens or is about to happen. A lot more involved then maintaining a stock car. Fixing that will definitely help those fuel trims a lot. |

Dang. Fixed the tubing and STFT is positive and maxed out on idle. Only thing left to check is my header for leaks. Not sure if a leak can even cause STFT to go that high.. Fuel trims are normal during cold startup but once idle drops down, my STFT maxes out. ughhh

Did you fix your leak on intake pipe at coupler yet? This should be priority done ASAP. You also mentioned something about your tuner doing something to compensate for your bad fuel trims, but this was done with several leaks and issues... it’s possible it may need to be reverted or further changed now that the leaks are resolved. No point in changing around tune parameters when you have leaks and issues you need to resolve. Once resolved 100% then get tuned. And until resolved 100% and tuned do not drive it. |

I temporarily fixed the coupler leak but moving the metal clamp closer towards the front so it could seal the gap more. Going to try reverting to a base tune to see if that will fix it. |
