March 1st - Mt Tam DRIVE

This drive is off because of weather.

Hello everyone out there in ft86club land, I wanted to start a new topic in the general Norcal forum in case anyone didn't see my drive idea for this Saturday, March 1st in the DRIVE thread. Here are the details (thanks to @BigFatFlip for originally posting this).

Post in this thread and let me know if you plan on coming!

You are very welcome lol. I'm bummed that I won't make this drive, but I may just do the route in the afternoon just because I love that road. Maybe I'll catch you guys as you finish your drive.

Damn it. I work this weekend. What if it rains, will you reschedule it for a later week?

I'm open to rescheduling if there isn't a large number of people interested in going on this drive, and if the weather sucks.

Maybe we can do it next Saturday and have a caravan over to the event in Livermore afterward. Anyone interested in doing that?

I'd love to make this one, but I will be getting the car ready for the Autox in Fresberg that following day. The rain may prevent any further anecdotes in the 'I hate cyclists...' thread that is in the NorCal sub-forum... There will be most likely mucho traffic and cyclists on the road, be safe!

I won't know for sure until maybe Fri whether I am free this Sat for the drive... you know I'd be down if I can make it.

If you move it to next week, I dunno if it makes sense to drive all the way over to Mt Tam and then back to Livermore, for me at least. Especially if we also plan to do some kind of drive from Livermore (Mines). But definitely do it when you can and when the most people can join.

My sleep schedule is a bit out of whack right now, but I'm theoretically down for this, weather pending

@funwheeldrive @Cjymiller @BigFatFlip @Zen86 @Bones36

I think it's probably for the best that I reschedule this. It's gonna be raining tomorrow and not a lot of people are able to make this, so this drive is off until further notice. Maybe in two weeks or something.

@PMok please update the 86drive schedule. Thanks.

Done. Yeah I do think this route deserves a nice clear day since the view from up top is so awesome when you can see SF and the GG Bridge.

If we push it out past next week we also get benefit of Daylight Savings Time, more light in the evenings...

I'm definitely planning to hit up the drive next weekend on the 8th.

Very true, the view at the peak of Mt. Tam is too good to muck up with clouds. If you do reschedule it to the weekend of 15th-16th, my vote would be for Sunday (16th) morning since I'll be at Sonoma that Sat
