Average price for a full exhaust install???

Okay so pretty soon, probably within the next week I will be ordering my exhaust setup, FT86speedfactory V1 cat back, invidia front pipe, Perrin over pipe, & Borla headers. Really don't know what to expect on labor and pricing & I don't really have any of the tools or resources to do any of it myself so a shops really my only choice.

Its about an hour to two hours(tops) of work depending on how motivated you [they] are. I'd ask your local 86 group and see if they could give you a hand. Its really pretty simple and quick.

So to answer your question, depending on how much the shop you're wanting to go to charges by the hour. Expect I'd say $100-$250. I don't see it going any higher than that.

If you have access to a hoist. It would be easy to do with a buddy.

A hoist? Why not use a simple lever system like a 2x4 and a cinder block to just push it on it's side?

Did you spend all your money on the exhaust parts and run out of cash for some basic tools and a floor jack lol...? Paying for labor on bolt on exhaust install pains me to think about, unless there's no where that allows you to work on your own car?

If he's asking this question, it's probably dangerous to suggest he physically crawl underneath a lifted car. Is it easy? Yes. Is he ready for it? No. And by the time he buys tools, a jack and jack stands to do it safely, he will probably have paid more than if he just gets an exhaust shop to do it.

elaus, shop around. Use this internet thing and search in your area for exhaust shops that have good online reviews. Then call a few, explain that you have all the bolt-on parts and ask for a quote. You might also try a few small, independent mechanics to see what they'll charge. You'll probably find the prices all over the place, so really only you can find out how much it's going to cost to get these things installed.

$90 low profile floor jack + $50 4 jack stands + $50 worth of a couple hand tools x 20% off coupons from harbor freight would be about the same as the labor from a shop.
Unless you are in a apartment complex or somewhere you can't work on the car, I'd use that $200 and get the tools. If you own or can access a garage, having your own tools is a must.
You already started modifying the car and more than likely more is to come after this so it would be nice to have the tools to wrench it yourself if you can.
The headers and back are some of the easiest things you'll do on the car that can be done with very little knowledge of working on a car. Might as well get your feet wet with the easy stuff.

The bolt on looks pretty simple, aside from the 02 sensors. I keep seeing on youtube where folks are having a helluva time getting them out and even breaking or stripping them. Better get spares!

O2 sensors are a bit pricey to buy spares. Mine came out no problem. Dropped the header off the car first, with O2 sensors still in, then used a wrench with a long handle to get them out.

I'd also forget buying the over pipe if I were you. Big chunk of change for something that won't change a whole lot.
