255/40 18 rear - Does it fit??

I want to do staggered Rota MXR's with 18x8.5 +44 front and 18x9.5 +38 rear. I know the wheels fit without coilovers (just going with springs). Will 255 fit in the rear? I know 245 will. And should I do 255/40 or 255/35?
Thanks yall.

In the interest of keeping the speedometer as close to accurate as possible, you should steer clear of 255/40-18. Good rule of thumb is you want to stay +/- 3% of OEM diameter.

255/35-18 puts you at +1.6%. At 60 on the speedo you'll actually be travelling 61.

255/40-18 puts you at +5.7%. At 60 on the speedo you'll actually be travelling 63.4.
