That is exactly what I was thinking when I read Paul's response.

They are sending the fitting. I believe that was cleared up between AVO and myself over PM. The fitting is what was incorrect.

Also missing a the barb'd T fitting for the BOV to brake booster line, so thankfully they are including that with the fitting.

Also related, SRT header back exhaust has a terrible flange that may or may not have sealed up well to the down-pipe from the turbo. I will not know for a few days (until I can start the car) but damn that is an annoying bit of news too. Explains why MrJay switched it up

I used RTV + a new gasket on the downpipe, overpipe, and front pipe flanges just to be 100% sure there are no leaks. That might increase the chances of having it seal with a sketchy flange

I would highly recommend a vacuum manifold as opposed to just tee'ing off what you need. It's a little more work upfront, but it will make things much easier down the road and clean up the area around the brake booster. I also got a custom tee hardline made up to tap in behind the intake manifold as opposed to just chopping the line itself. So much cleaner!

Question guys, the air line that we pull off the factory inlet pipping (it connects to a 90 degree fitting right before the throttle body), what do we do with that line? It was not clear in the instructions.

This is one of my remaining questions left with my install.

There should be a giant nipple coming off of the airbox piping just after the 90 degree bend that points towards the throttle body, and a dual male barb fitting to link the two hoses.

Oh ok, well that is easy enough (and explains the positioning)

So then the long rubber hose that came with the car (that connects to the oil reservoir off the turbo) connects to what? I do not have a breather tank of any sort?

This forum rocks

You'll have to tee the crank vent line and oil reservoir vent line together. The other option is get a crank case vent filter for the oil reservoir line until you get an air oil separator.

It will be iffy. I know of another SRT + AVO owner who had the SRT cut and redone to make work whos forum name escapes me at the moment.

It basically looks like either a lot of RTV gasket goop to help me out along the bottom, or possibly tack wield on the spot that's leaking. My exhaust sounds pretty great - I would like to keep it... but man - they should have made it with flanges and not vbands and slide on pipes.

Car was taken apart on Friday, today is Tuesday...joys of missing parts. Thank goodness I do not have to pay storage or shop fees. One positive here.

Edit Paul from AVO is doing his part in getting the shipment to me. Administrative red tape got the packaged delayed at UPS and push everything. Looking at a Wednesday or Thursday completion now. Not exactly what I was planning for.

Was the avo turbo kit stage 1 suppose to come with anything connecting these two pipes together? I have nothing left to insert in there and that is all I need other than a tune to get her running 😑

No, they wouldn't have supplied any caps. You'll have to improvise, literally. Make sure the cap fits over top of the pipe and not inside. Also, make sure they're clamped down tight.

I would suggest ordering the OEM style bov from AVO and do it properly.
