Advice on Tire setup

I Know there are a billion tire threads out there and I am sorry to make another one but I can't seem to get a definite answer. I will basically just pick from whatever the mass majority agrees on for my car.

So My FRS has TRD lowering springs (approx. 1") and I am having a Supercharger installed in the upcoming weeks. I will stick to the stock wheels for now until they wear out or If I find it uncontrollable for some reason.

My question is, With the newly added power, What size wheels/tires do you guys recommend me have for my car. This car is purely a DD car as for now. until I move home in a couple years where they have Auto X and I may participate in that a couple times. But It is MAINLY a DD car. So with that being said I think the staggered look, is more appealing in a sporty coupe and TRD comes that way But I am down to the squared option because of the sake of rotating tires.

I was looking at 245 Michelllin power super sports all around tires but worried about the front fitment on 18/7.5 or even 18/8. I have to consider adding a bigger break kit also if need be with the extra power.

sorry for another one of these but I just need a straight answer

If you want a straight answer, you should give a straight question.
1. stagger for looks, square for performance.
2. 18's for looks, 17's for performance, there are 18's that perform well too.
So what do you want?

Ask the guys who put in a supercharger what they have for tires. They can give you some direction to go in.

In a similar boat here in that I want to go FI down the road so I have been reading around and planning what to get. I'd like to stay square too for the same reasons you do.

I'm looking at a 17x8 wheel with a sticky 235/40/17 tire. Because I'm doing AutoX and track days, I'm getting Z2SS or RS3v2 depending on cost/availability.

If I wasn't going to do any auto sporting events then I would get a more pedestrian tire that will last longer. Because I'm in Canada and it gets cold here, the PS AS/3 would be my tire of choice. If I was somewhere that never got cold enough to see snow then I'd get PSS instead.

I'd say squared for the performance. I'm thinking about for the time being just keeping the stock rims and just upgrading to better tires. Would it really make much of a difference if I kept stock 17 with better wheels vs aftermarket 17.

And I'd rather not spend an arm and a leg. I would consider the trd wheels also.

I would not recommend the TRD wheels. They are heavier and more expensive than most aftermarket wheels from reputable companies.

Thank you. I am thinking about just plasti dipping my stock wheels for the time being. Probably turn the silver accent into a red accent on my Firestorm FRS. and get Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tire - 225/45R17 94Z XL do you think they will fit without rubbing issues on front and back with 1" lowered?
