I got mine from the dealer for free cuz they lied about it being bone stock. It's nice to have *when it's free*. I'm just afraid that if u get a bigger exhaust it might touch the diffuser ...

Save yourself $600 and just get the replica one for $65 shipped in the vendor classifieds. Installed mine a couple weeks ago and you can't tell the difference except in your wallet.

$600 sounds really high. At had the dealer do it for much less during an oil change and front plate mounting.

No performance value at all. As others have said, get the eBay knockoff, and save yourself $650

Bullshit when the R205 rear diffuser is much cheaper and painted.

You have a link? I've been looking for a cheap knockoff with the same texture as OEM.

Many on e-bay for $89 or so. Can't tell the difference between OEM and after market unless you get on your knees and put your eyeball on it.

I can see from the picture that its not the same texture as OEM.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/321185360088...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

That's the only one I can find that matches the OEM texture. Not important to some, but not having the textures match would drive me nuts.

Actually, I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong, but the OEM one does not match the texture of the bottom section of the rear bumper. It is smooth like the cheaper replicas. Also there is another seller on ebay that has the textured diffuser for less. I think it was ~$95. A search for "BRZ rearddiffuser carbon like" should bring it up.

Found it, thanks bud. I always thought the OEM matched. Just ordered it! 101 shipped
Hopefully it works out the vendor has a couple bad reviews. I'll post some pics when I get it.

Happy with the purchase. Fitment was good and I only had to drill three small holes. The texture and color is not exactly the same, but once you put some Armorall on it it less apparent. Comes with all the hardware. Packaging and price could have been better.
