Wish I had the highest model of the Tesla S! Sub 3 second 0 to 60 and two electric motors powering the front and back wheels. Don't need an entire transmission... Just 2 gearboxes!

Tesla was also the Gran Daddy of how the world makes and distributes electricity. Yet he was into wireless electricity. He worked on Experiments in Colorado back in the teens and twenties and was lighting light bulbs a mile or more from where the electricity was distributed.

He also worked on a lot of other ideas for which later that science would prove correct.

nope, it just bleeds back through the compressor. But it doesn't have much excess boost to bleed off because the compressor has a brake on it that slows it down quickly when you disengage it.

Fitted compressor support bracket from Keen As. Have rubber washers on mine, ESC still resonates through the radiator support panel. Sounds great

Just installed the kit. I really can't tell the difference in cabin volume without the sound tube, so it's a non-issue if anyone was wondering. I still get the same level of sound feedback.

Latest OFT tune for ESC AT 91 OCT?

Downloaded all the latest maps from OFT website (current as of 03/16) and have the following options for 91 Octane:

Stage 1
Stage 2 EL
Stage 2 UEL

Am I right in going with Stage 1?
Thought there was a map optimized for ESC at one time?

Look up KoolBRZ on this or the users thread, he has a tune for the AT.

The tune is dependent on exhaust back-pressure. I am currently working with an exhaust that has no cats, and only one resonator. The axle-back exhaust does supply some back-pressure though. The tunes Shiv posted before work fine for MT's, but low-end torque is sadly lacking for AT's with modified exhausts. If you have a completely stock exhaust though, you will have more low-end torque. Back-pressure = low-end torque, but limits high-end horsepower. It's all because the ESC pressurizes the Intake. When there is valve overlap, the ESC can simply blow the fuel straight through. Since the exhaust back-pressure is fixed, while intake, timing and fuel are variable, the tune then has to be adjusted to the exhaust.
That said, what is your CAL ID, and what are you running for exhaust?

Kool,

Was your Shredder tune good for stock manifold, TRD exhaust? If you're putting one together for godzuki, mine is D00D.

The Shredder tune blew through too much fuel. Normally I'm not one to worry about wasting fuel, but the O2 sensor senses the wasted fuel and removes all the horsepower to compensate. At least that's what it feels like. The newest tune I'm working on has very little overlap at .40 load, so the ESC won't blow through so much fuel as to throw off the mixture. It doesn't work so bad with the ESC turned off even, since the late opening Intake at .40 helps to suck the charge into the cylinder. I'm trying out the most extreme example today. If it works out, I'll post tunes for A00D and D00D.
