I hate you for showing me that. My next bike will be a daytona 675 with an ixill exhaust. I really want the pearl whit and blue LE edition. I miss my sv650. Daily road it for 3 years with the last year on pilot race tires. Cant wait to get on another bike.

+1

When I used to run at the track, I had to bring eye drops b/c after a couple sessions my eyes were bloodshot and dry from all of the adrenaline. There is no blinking and you have to stay focused!

A lot of people are scared of riding/motorcycles but from someone who has been riding motorcycles since I was a kid, it's an the best feeling in the world. To accellerate so quick, to stop so fast, the agility, the wind flowing through your soul, the lean, the engine winding up to 14k RPM with such a high pitch!!

I've ridden in some fast cars and they were badass but didn't really do much. It's like going on the biggest and fastest roler coaster in the amusement park first then when you ride the others, they are not as exciting.

If the wife decides to ride with me I think a VFR will be the solution. She used to ride on the SV. She wasnt too happy the night we raced a viper but she still rode with me even after. Only thing that sucks is 2up riding reaaly screws the dynsmics of the bike.

I miss riding too. It's been 6 months since I crashed.
The ring is a really difficult track for newbies to ride. There are a lot of elevations.

My first ride after I went down was very surreal. I blindly trusted the bike before not so much after. Well until I got new tires. Everyone earns their stripes, it's just a matter of time and women in suv's.

After I crashed, I rode even harder. LOL The problem is, I have many things to do, so I decided to stop riding for a while or maybe a few years. I'm missing riding.

Edit: I mean every time I went down, I came back riding even harder. I had to control myself not to overdo it because harder doesn't mean better.

That guy has balls.

I miss the leaning and acceleration, but not the full face helmet.

VFR's are nice and about riding 2up my g/f won't even sit on my Ducati so you're in a better situation.

Usually those who crashed hard usually hang it up so to come back with more determination is good. I crashed bad at Pahrump, NV on my R1 (lowsided and bent my subframe to almost 90 degrees) and that took me a while to get my mojo back.

It's time to get rid of that fixie and get a real bike!

I was at the shop with my buddy looking at the latest road bikes and saw this beauty!

He did get a head shake but he knows the track like the back of hand so I doubt that would be any minor set back.

Oh the only reason I got my wife on was because she killed her car. She had no choice and I had spare gear. I eased her into it though. We went to an empty parking lot for a while and she was fine.
