Custom badge guy (instagram...pete39sp) question

I ran across someone's instagram portfolio on goggle, while searching for classic Toyota badges. Researching the history of the twins over the weekend gave me a deeper appreciation for the car, and inspired me to have some classic metal made for the bonnet and boot.

One of the photos was a t3q badge on a FR-S, so I'm taking a chance that it was a member's car. I emailed the guy per the instructions on his instagram page but haven't heard back. His user name on there is pete39sp.

Anyone know him, or someone else who does quality stuff? I'd like to commission some work.

Thanks!

I was thinking of doing the same after I saw another Instagram user (@slydsho) with the TEQ badges from @pete39sp. Perhaps check with him, they look really good IMO.

I have one for my Landcruiser, i'll see if I can find the vendor. Search for TEQ landcruiser. It's all brass with epoxy fill. Heavy and well made. I was gonna get one for the car but opted for something unique

some here https://www.google.com/search?q=TEQ+...ctive&tbm=shop

Yes I saw quite a few options out there. Ideally I'd like it to match the scale of the OEM emblems, retain the OEM pins, and I want a custom colored background instead of the see-through design.

He's done a bunch with everything but the last bit, so I imagine its plug and play work with less lead time (in theory at least).

My FR-S is Firestorm, so I think it needs some contrast to break up all the red and black. I want people to ask questions about the car and strike up a conversation, and in my past experiences, little details like this are perfect for that.

I hope he will return my message.

He can make them scale to OEM, The emblem doesn't have pins. It come with a thin metal backing plate (with carbon fiber overlay, of your color choice i believe)

you adhere the emblem to the backing plate and attach that to your car, so it covers all the OEM pin holes

Ok, that's still good. Particularly the background part.
