Saw a Toyota Camry with a Ford sticker on it. That should get a ticket...but to each their own.

People that know do. There is a guy down the road with a kit on an old VW bug chassis. It gathers crowds of awed onlookers all the time. Most people have no clue even when he starts it up and it goes Pop POP POPPOP

I understand the purpose of those kits, and I'm fairly sure that most people who did it did not intend it to be an attempt to impress the neighbors. Turning a Scion into a Toyota just seems a bit desperate.

I loved mine, happy with the fact I had an oddball little car.

Nah. Badging as a Toyota is no big deal. At least it actually is one. I like my Scion badges since they are weird and exotic around here. People have no clue what a Scion is in my area.
It is the guys that want t pretend it is something else that I get a chuckle from.

My Racecar says Porsche on the Back (and on the title) and Volkswagen on the engine - So What?

Actually no. They both came that way, originally, from the dealer :-)

Is this supposed to be a Ferrari or Glock. Not sure since it has "badging" for both.

My guess is Ferrari. He is saying he has a Glock to protect his $800,000 car!

He isn't alone on this.

This dude is at least close

Here we have the BRZ 86

And the Subaru FRS

So badging as a Toyota really isn't that odd now is it?
