So after I washed the engine bay with a pressure washer a month ago it stopped running lol. I was almost to the stage of buying a full gts can bus network hardware like the cluster, ecu, climate control, direct injection computer, abs etc. I changed the alternator and a few other things, it ended up being the main engine harness plug (sealed) got a tiny amount of water in it that stopped the ignition dead. I unplugged it and left it for 3 days (35 degrees C) and that done the trick. It runs again!

Just been doing a heap of small things, getting wheels re-powder coated, installing interior bits and the carbon driveshaft.
I've been talking to PWR about their intercoolers and I'm trying to find the biggest that will fit in the engine bay without being too big and wasting 900 odd dollars.
I also installed another buddyclub bbk to another gt last weekend. It runs 17s and has more grip than a train!

Hello Nice project ! Will you change the compression ratio to 10? With stock internal the engine could be damaged? Thanks

So, Mad Max has a new interceptor it sounds like! Great build, a bit way out in left field for me, but totally gets the jiggly bits excited. I'd love to see some video of the car on asphault, going through the rpm band! What's your max rpm? Any dyno's yet? I just have two words to describe your build. Hell. Yes.

Seems like a lot of money. Gotta be like $14k into this setup. Could have just done a swap and been at the same level with more potential and less issues with cooling IMO. Z06 power.

I think people forget I live in australia. We have the most strict modification laws in the world. We have a "hoon" law here that if you get caught doing a burnout or street racing you get 12 month licence suspension, $3500 fine, car crushed and possible imprisonment.
The way I'm building this car now keeps all oem laws as well as has euro 4 emissions.
