FT 86 Speedfactory

Very disappointed with the service. Ordered a part last friday, they ran my card, but I have never received any e-mails with order conformation or tracking number. The phone number is worthless, All I ever get is a message. Also sent them a e-mail as they requested and got an automated reply, but no real info, up date, or tracking info.

Still waiting for a reply.

Weird, I've ordered from FT86SF plenty of times and never had issues.

When you say they ran your card are you saying that they charged you and you never got order confirmation? Did your order even go through?

Yes, they charged me. I just got a tracking number from them a few minutes ago. At 8:55 pm my time.

I ordered an exhaust over 3 weeks ago. Ft86 doesn't stock everything they sell. I've had the item get shipped directly from the manufacturer at times which took forever. They're a wholesale store they can only immediately ship what they have and I'm sure it takes a while to get an order in from the manufacturer. They order parts same as you. They have to wait for shipping same as you.

I ordered my supercharger for my previous FR-S from SpeedFactory. Got a confirmation, but never got a shipping notification or tracking number. About a week later I drove home to see a giant box outside my front door. Best surprise in a while. Just be patient....

Yeah, the only place FT86SF falls down is really with communication. They tend to under-communicate shipping timelines, back orders, drop ships and tracking info.

Example and item will say "Ships from factory". The layperson doesn't know that means longer ship times and that shipping information will be per the drop-shippers communication processes. This could be resolved with technology. First though, the vendor has to fully internalize the problem to find the wherewithal to resolve it.

Other than that, FT86SF is great. nice size catalog, easy website, lots of DIY videos and yummy delicious banana LaffyTaffy.

Yeah the ships from factory sucks. We are always working on this and we stock over 1.5M in parts for the FRS/BRZ. It's just hard to stock it all and honestly a lot of the MFGs are mom and pop operations just making a few pieces at a time.

Thank you for liking Banana. It's my favorite.

Email is the fastest way to reach us, leaves an audti trail, and works on everyone's schedule. David, Casey, Yo, Maddy, Jeremy, and more can handle that que.

Just for reference, every order gets a confirmation. 90% get tracking as we ship over 300 a day out of Iowa.

On the other side of thing, we see TONS of miss typed emails on our side, leading to errors of non-delivered confirmations and tracking emails. Not saying that was the case but we do see it a lot. You would also be surprised how many times people type their address in wrong, daily we fix digit issues on address to zip codes.
