I have tried 2 different Pro-Sport Gauges using this plug:

Now every company who makes gauges may have a different size sender NBT or PT thread size. Just make sure you find the plug and the matching thread size of the sender.
That plug is exactly the kind of thing I was looking for (I am getting a 0-5V sensor to plug into a data logger). Thank you!

I bought a galley plug from rally sport direct that was BSPT and a pressure sensor that was NPT. Luckily the pressure sensor company also sold a BSPT to NPT adapter.

Aditionally the sending unit was too large to fit directly into that tight space so I had to buy a relocation kit from the same company to mount the sender on the firewall.

Glow shift red pressure gauge mounted via a AC vent pod. Looks slick.

What is the basis for 40PSI as the low threshold?

The shops that run race prepped cars, agree this is the area at high RPM where you start to worry about skimming bearings.
