Baking headlights. FRS VS BRZ

So my question. Is there a difference between the two as far as baking them? I saw this guide....http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8788

But its referencing an FRS. Pretty much every one i see is an frs. Wtih the brz there are more components for the HID stuff. I have never baked lights, and it doesnt look like you can remove these pieces, so seems like the only way to do this is to bake the lights with the HID bulb and wiring, board, etc.. left intact during the procedure.

Any input from anyone. Has anyone baked the brz lights yet? I am sure its fine, but want to double check before tossing in the oven.

Thanks all!

You should remove the bulbs, ballasts and wiring. Then you're all set. It's mostly just clips and screws for the bulbs and ballasts

Is this from experience, or just your best guess? Hope that doesnt come across the wrong way,its just, i can remove the bulbs and ballast assembly, but the wiring seems to be hardwired at certain points, so does not look like there is any way to actually remove the wires.

No it doesn't come off the wrong way . This is just what I saw on a pair of JDM 86 lights. I'm assuming they're pretty similar. Keep me updated though because I might be picking up a brz in the future
