I have to agree. Sounds like that crazy ass DI shiz, but would that sound happen under very little load?

to me it sounds like a short quick sucking sound like air rushing past the throttle plate and filling up the vacuum created by the supercharger when the throttle was previously closed. On second listen with headphones, maybe not.

I don't think OP is experiencing that noise in neutral, is he?

Also, the DI sound is present consistent/repeatable on a warmed up engine under moderate acceleration from 3-5k RPM's, isn't it?

Evo, Whatever happened with this?
Mine does something similar - sounds very much like pinging if I blip the throttle around 2500-3000 rpm.

It was the MAP connector wiring loose from the Innovate extension cable.
They had a problem during tuning, car would semi-stall as well until they re-seated the wires.
@ft_sjo more from my useless videos for idiots series.

My car makes the same noise, I can do it while shifting non agressively but while doing a kind of weird late clutch release. I can also repeat the noise in neutral by just blipping the throttle around 3000rpm or higher.

no mods on my car besides a tune and wheels

Abnormal noise when throttle blip or WOT shifting

My car doing it to. I hate this sound. Wish we can find what wrong whit that. I'be talk to my dealer about this during the last oil change but they did not fix it yet.

I have an abnormally noisy fuel pump as well so they are going to replace that next week - they are thinking it may be related. Their head tech rode with me and I was able to repeatedly recreate the issue and they acknowledged it.

100% stock as well

If it's the same noise, it's a bummer that your tune doesn't resolve it. Have you taken it to the dealer?
