1800rpm is about 1/4 of the rev limit, so that means if we have 200hp max power at 1800rpm there is 50hp available (probably less but just an estimate). Cruising at 75mph uses perhaps 30hp in a car this size typically...that's 60% max torque O_O Almost perfect spot for fuel efficiency...if this is true, I think >40mpg highway easy.

A few weeks ago, my Scion rep says that Hot Lava is a confirmed color on the Scion version.
Same color as 2012 xB RS9.0 Ruskymx Quote:

Hot lava sounds great I would imagine it will be the same as the orange colour for the new Subaru 4/4 |

Rear taillights are quite ugly and the whole rear end looks bloated imo.
Apart from that the front and interior seems pretty good. |

Just a few thoughts, don't feel like quoting everyone
1) I like the location of the start button. First thing you do after you start the car is grab the shifter, so it makes sense to have them together. 2) Along the same lines, I think a taller shifter is better. It puts the shifter closer to the steering wheel so you can get your hand back on the wheel faster. Just personal preference I guess. 3) Love the shift light, alloy pedal covers, and contrast stitching. Hopefully that is all standard stuff and not part of the optional package. 4) that body kit and wheels looks like ass. The clear tails are also ugly. The car itself look great but all the stuff they tacked on it looks like it came from 1997. |

I think straighter headlights would look slightly better, no? I'd like a headlight coverup part...

I'm going to be learning how to drive in this car. Hehe. Hopefully my dad lets me mod it so I can do I/H/E and maybe a nice body kit...I'm not against turbos but I'd wait 1-2 years for the kinks to be rolled out. I'm 100% against engine swaps unless you have a car like a Geo Metro, or a Honda.

No offense, but I find such questions to be absurd. Its a Brochure not a random sneak pic in a factory yard or on the road, the content is controlled. DO you guys think they took the pics of the car in the hyperzone/plane where there is only gray fields? No they took the pics in a studio then they clipped the car out and placed it on the backgroud for display purposes in the brochure. Similarly with the missing mirrors and blank spaces behind shifter etc. Those are detail shots/frames so they want the viewer to focus just on shifter/ interior/ exterior so they remove backdrops. Any designer knows these are simple job requirements for product displays. Someone whole have to be quite bored to make a real car interior or shop a bunch of interiors together then lay them out in brochure then get it printed then take a crappy cell pic just to get a rise out of us |

Try and learn to drive manual in another car first before you try in a brand new FT86. You will save yourself much pain and frustration. Even if you go with an auto, practice on beater. |
