I can tell the dealership pressure is on. Their response to my second engine failure was a "we're getting you a different engine, rental is ready tomorrow, there's coffee in the waiting room, we'll do a full detail after and sorry." They openly immediately admitted to excess sealant clogging multiple passages.

Or they did it because they know I won't stop until they fix it. It took me 52 less emails, and 20 something less phone calls. And 33 less days. Let's see if this ends it so I can stop posting in this thread about myself.

It likely means the dealership and their mechanics are completely incompetent.

Service advisor, probably. Techs should have their head around it at this point. Maybe he was misunderstood? Maybe that’s what Toyota calls some part we aren’t aware of?

Mercedes don’t have flex plates, that have driven plates. If I said you need a new driven plate you would look at me like I was a moron.

Need more info before we decide everyone is incompetent. Advisors excluded, I’ll give you that one right away

No they are not bloody free here. The first consultation is usually free though and I understand that it often is the case in the US as well.
I fail to see where the loss in talking to a lawyer exists? If you are told that it will cost $7,000 you will just fork it over without even seeking legal advice? People will just sit and make payments on a ruined car without some sort of fight beyond complaining to groups like NHTSA that can not help in the situation? These people have legitimate claims and if not satisfied by the dealer they should take action. There are plenty of guys here that have lawyer-ed up to fight a legit speeding ticket but now all of a sudden it is a horrible idea because it may cost them some money.
Bloody Americans make up your minds. do you want to sue for everything or not?

Blow it up with a turbo kit, it's on you. Blow it up at the track, it's on you. Put a tune and headers on it, it's on you. Crappy, but that's their way out.

And what Tcoat said.
My car is mostly stock. I have coils, wheels, and a cat back with minor cosmetic mods.

Edit - I'm supposed to hear from corporate today. If I'm not satisfied I will be hiring a lawyer.

First oil change after engine rebuild. At 450~ mile.
Saw some gold flaky material in the oil drain pan. But they are super flaky, i could break it with my fingers.
Someone tell me bearing material is not flaky like that.

And i also have coolant leak after the rebuild. Where should i look. i'm not taking it back to the dealer.

Not sure if that's bad news or not, but if I remember correctly bearings do have a number of coatings that could be described as gold or bronze colored. I defer to more qualified mechanics here though.

Basically I wouldn't personally feel comfortable

Sounds like bearing material to me. Nothing else in the engine is that brass/bronze color. Small pieces make the oil look like metal flake paint, I’ve seen bigger pieces maybe 3-4mm across and flat. Super thin little chips.

Take it back and see what they say, especially with the coolant leak.

Hate to tell you but yes bearing material is flaky like that. I’m amazed you aren’t knocking like crazy if you have chunks of bearing large enough to break in your fingers.
