This is a question for all you denver guys, does the elevation affect your cars noticeably. I was planning a road trip, wanted to know if I would still enjoy the car.

yes performance is negatively affected. plus the highest octane you can get easy is 91. but youll get use to it after a while. all us mile high owners still enjoy our cars after all

Lol. I call it the end of an era. Left active duty after 11 years to finish my degree. Headed to UC Denver from UNC Wilmington out here. I guess I should remove the sailboat since 'me days at sea are over'

My FRS will always be a San Diego baby, like my actual children since its where I picked them up at

And the Santa Fe is the mom-mobile..nothing special

To add to Lewis' response, 91 is safe to run at higher elevations. There's less air density here, so there's less chance for preignition/knock than at seal level where 93+ is needed.

You'll feel like you've lost about 20% of your power. But, so has everyone else.

Should be a good turn out. As of right now, it looks like 15 or 20 86's will be there.
I'll be there!

Hey everyone. I just moved here to Denver about a month ago from Phoenix, AZ. I live and work in the DTC area and go to school at CU Denver. I would love to meet new people out here. I have only seen maybe one FRS since I have moved here. Im used to seeing alot all over the place like in Phoenix lol. Are there any good fun scenic drives out here? I noticed theres alot of traffic around here but I would like to be able to know of some roads or places to go whenever I feel like going for a drive.

Sounds like it's time for another GTG. How does the week of the 15th look for everyone? I'm completely open right now, but expect that'll fill up as time goes on. Anyone care to pick a date that works for them?

There is going to be a huge meeting on labor day. Check out the Colorado facebook page for more info, or look for my previous post about it.

I'm good for the 15th, can't do the Labor Day meet as others have mentioned.

Where were you thinking for places Pat?

I'm not on Facebook.
I am hoping to make the event on Monday, but am not fully committed just yet.

Let's do Parry's in CR. Shall we say 6:30 on the 15th?
