Shorai is in my to do list and my car will see many track events this year so I will report back

Tracking and D.D'ing my Shorai for several years now, let it go flat a couple of times, the last time it discharged it would not charge up again with the Shorai charger.

However, I charged it with an old crappy tire conventional charger at HIGH for a few minutes, then a conventional charge.

Been working fine and charging with the Shorai charger for the last 2 years.

If the battery needs a special charger then I would think the alternator on the car wouldn't maintain the battery the same as a special charger. Do they provide any special regulator or anything between the battery and the alternator feed wire?

Edit* I just saw this new automotive battery with a BMS which is what is needed for cars with an alternator...
