Those of you that are on lowering springs lowered 1" with these sized wheels, how bad is the poke? I just want to confirm camber bolts are necessary up front. How's the back?

I don't have a set just yet... But, 17x9 +35 will fit with 1" drop springs. The poke in the front is not that bad. Camber bolts will totally help and are suggested. The rear will fit nicely with just the drop. This is for 225/45, 235/40 and 245/40 tires. A 255/40 may have issues with rubbing.

Hi everyone - I am on the SSC kit as my car is primarily used for autocross, but I am starting to get into track events, and I am thinking of getting a wider/lighter wheel, with potentially more rubber on the ground. I would love to get 245/40-17 RE71Rs to work on a 9 inch wide wheel.

I have about -3 camber in the front and -2.2 in the rear. I am pretty sure that the front has very little clearance with the spring on a 17X8 et40 225/45/17.

I am interested in whether anyone is running RPF1's 17X9 +35 on the SSC kit (or the same Eibach springs), and whether anything needs to be done to avoid rubbing like spacers and extended bolts.

I can't comment on whether they will fit at that alignment with the stock-sized springs, as I have coils. However, I can tell you that you will have very little margin for spacers. Pic is with 245/40/17 RS3s at around -3* front camber. You could *maybe* fit a 5mm spacer and clear the fender.

Does anyone run the 255/40-17 Nitto NT01 on 17x9 et35 for track days? I have a line on a decent cheap set and want to make sure they will work well. Can someone tell me the difference in performance? Thanks for the help. I just wonder if anyone has experience with the difference between 245/40 and 255/40 before I mount them on my wheels.
