I churned some butter last night. Good stuff. Now I need to make some biscuits with the buttermilk.

Sky is red this morning. Something coming in.

Me neither. Not even sure where it is on the dash.

Same, although I'm rather well acquainted with the TPMS warning light.

Oh, I reckon you could just pay it no mind or take it to a shop and have them diagnose the situation.

I spend about 4 months a year with that one. When I go back to my summer tires it seems like something is wrong when it is gone.

I have 5 frogs that live in my fish pond beside the house. Any cricket that ventures too far from cover is doomed.

The good news is that my fiancée got hired at one of, if not the largest trauma centre in Canada. She’s started this week, and absolutely loves it, outside of her current commute.

We found a nice place to rent in Markham while we figure out what the hell we’re doing buying wise. It’ll work out nicely since I’m switching departments with my employer in the spring. Going to join their local field group, so I’ll only be gone a week or two per month. Big plus is that I have a 20 minute commute even during the heaviest traffic, the wife is looking at an hour for worst case.

Unfortunately the landlord didn’t have all of his ducks in a row for the move in date he gave us. We’re waiting on the place to be inspected by the city for occupancy by laws. Should only set us back a week. The downside to that is I’m still out in Montreal and only home once every 4 weeks. This coming weekend was supposed to be my days off, but my boss seems amenable to being a bit flexible with extending my stay here, and giving me the following weekend off for the move. The downside to that of course, is we had the following planned for this weekend: move in on Friday, Saturday I was going to finish my half sleeve, and fiancée was going to finish filling in her full sleeve, Sunday was going to be thanksgiving dinner with my grandmother.

Some wild things have happened lately in both of our family lives, in that both of our parents have done things to effectively make us cut ties with them. I’m sure that it’ll get better with time, but my mother just couldn’t ever be nice to my fiancée since retiring and picking up an alcohol habit. And her parents are welcoming her sister back into their lives after kicking her to the curb years ago for some awfully sketchy shit.
Good to hear from you Cole -

Too bad your job opportunity didn't work out.

Fiancée OR wife? Which is she?

I hope your relations with your family improve.

I suggest you introduce your mother to AA.

Keep it together -

My cat failed to get the cricket. He's nearly 20 lbs, but he'd likely get his ass kicked by a frog.
