FlexFuel Tuning will be even easier now for those of you running our Speed Density tunes. We have now confirmed our Speed Density tunes work perfectly with our Flex Fuel connected directly through the MAF sensor. So now installation could not be any easier.

Literally pop your hood, connect in the fuel system, connect in the plugs to the OEM MAF sensor, close your hood and install our Speed Density FlexFuel tune. No need to go under your car, no need to wire through the firewall, just pop your hood and everything you need is right there.

Cheers,
William Knose

Our kit should be available for sale within the next couple weeks if all goes as planned

As far as the fuel pump goes, we have put thousands of miles on the shop brz on E85, as well as countless customers, all on the stock pumps, without any issue. What we do see is customer's eventually maxing out the flow capabilities of the stock unit when they make enough power.

While we have seen a thread or two on here about the fuel filter disintegrating, we do have a hunch that there may have been some other fuel additives at play there. It's hard to say for sure. What we do know is from our own personal experience and that of our customer's.

Bill and I will both personally be running the stock pump until we need to upgrade due to needing more fuel flow.

Sincerely,

Delicious Tuning

Can you build, power reduction into the tuning based on oil temps?
(dynamically lowering redline, timing etc.)

Been working on a project and talked to several people about the bottom end of this motor and there are great concerns about oil pressure drop with higher oil temps and power.

Bill in any of your tuning are you monitoring oil pressure on your FI tunes?
And when I mean monitoring I mean when oil gets to track temps like 235-255F.

Because we are seeing near 40PSI at 7000RPM when oil hits 240F.
Which is 20PSI lower than when oil is at 200F.

Dear Bill

Do you have a way to measure IAT post super charger?

I was offered an Innovate supercharger without intercooler with an attractive pricing.

Should I go for it? or just wait until I can afford and intercooled one?

Hi,

Your cable and license order was placed yesterday according to our records and will be shipped out today. The file was ordered a couple days ago as you stated but we did not have a dongle ID for the file. Now we know why, as you needed a cable and dongle.

Everything is shipping today.

Cheers,

We can accomplish this, should not be a problem. We have the ability to add this into custom mapping and pull power out of the tune. We have tried playing around with closing the throttle, but if it becomes too aggressive it will throw a check engine light. But power wise we can pull back on cams, timing and add fuel. So there are plenty of options to get things cooled down.

Is there someone that goes to the track often enough that we can test this with, as I would be interested in working out some sort of scaler to work into the system to make it work.

Cheers,
William Knose

We have an adapter that goes in between the the MAF sensor connector so you can install a intake temp sensor. We are sourcing the intake temp sensor we would like to use with it. But this should make it pretty easy and we can scale the timing for charge temps for you.

Definitely a good kit and worth it. You can always upgrade later too.

You say additives might cause the fuel pump to disintegrate. If I added the Lucas E85 fuel conditioner in would that cause the pump to go bad?

Figured I'd give a little review of the Stage1 Pump Gas tune on 93 octane.

Blue line is stock tune, red and green are with the Delicious tune.

The tune worked completely as advertised, picking up about 8whp at peak, but 11whp and 13wtq in the mid range. My car has a totally stock exhaust system and just a drop in K&N air filter. I've done a few other mods that might slightly effect hp, such as CF driveshaft, lighter clutch/flywheel, and Perrin motor mounts, but I doubt they have much effect. My car just seems to make more power than most as most stock cars only make around 160-165 whp on this dyno.

So thanks to @DeliciousTuning for the tune and to @Pure Automotive Performance for the dyno!

What about the heat soak issues other people were having with the IAT sensor not being in direct air flow if it is installed post blower? With what you're going to have available, does this solve that problem? I'm fairly certain my setup eliminates that problem, but it's not something most people are going to want to do. Especially with how well the car runs with your OTS tunes you have available.
