I actually took my car to Ortega immediately after my break in period and it isn't too bad. There aren't a whole lot of straight sections but the corners are pretty fast... I was averaging about 70-80MPH and I still managed to out-pace a modified CLA.

Honestly I'm very surprised by how well the BRZ's stock suspension + wheels can handle those corners

Looks like a good run will probably check it out this weekend. Any problems with cops or traffic?

i have done this run about five times this year and only had very limited number of run-ins with the police... they post up at major cross streets once in a while to show their presence to make sure people behave.

as for traffic levels, it really depends on the day/time you go, but never too bad... i usually go after 12pm on the weekends and never have any problems with traffic up there.

I went to Ortega yesterday. It was very fun, but my friend who was riding passenger got car sick and threw up. I had to drive very slow afterwards and couldn't enjoy the drive after 1/4 of the highway. I saw only one cop.
