DIY: LED Logo Projector Door Lights
Hey everyone,
I recently installed some sweet LED door projector lights in my car and thought I would make a quick tutorial in case anyone else is looking to do the same. The install is super easy, especially if you have a courtesy door light already (if you don't the wiring is a little more intensive, but still doable). Tons of Logo options available (BRZ, Subaru, TRD, Toyota, 86 Logo, etc) or you can order custom ones with anything. I'm a nerd so I went with the bat symbol Anyway, I put the DIY tutorial in the attached PDF. There are lots of pictures in it to walk you through it. Check it out if you are interested! That's pretty cool. Too bad the FRS doesn't have it.

Thanks, they are pretty easy. Pretty much just cut the hole in the bottom of the door panel and wire it to the courtesy lights. Check out the pdf I posted in the original post for the full details.
I bought mine off ebay for cheap, but there are tons out there. These are the ones I got: http://www.ebay.com/itm/151222154525...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT |

You can actually do it on the FRS as well, it just takes a little more effort if you don't have the courtesy light to tap into. You will have to wire it over to the door switch.
Here's a video how if you are interested: [ame="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0lTXk85Ezs"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0lTXk85Ezs[/ame] |

Crap! Too bad the FR-S isn't pre-wired. I would be happy with just the OEM red light in the door. It's easy but the last thing you want to introduce (especially under warranty) is a potential short circuit.
