Anyone else a little excited for the HKS Turbo kit?

I can't seem to find any official info other than HKSs Instagram but apparently there will be a FA20 turbo kit. I am eager to see some numbers but still cautious since they had issues with the S/C. Anyone else excited or have other info?

I think unless you just want the name, i'm sure the Greddy/Zage/SBD style kits can and will be had for cheaper with the same performance.

Oh for sure I know there are cheaper kits just glad to have more options. I'm still leaning towards JDL.

Both are rated at 330PS and on side-by-side engine displays at Auto Salon.

Thank you for this!

I was dead set on an HKS SC kit until I saw some people having issues with it in the SC thread on here.

I'm wondering if the turbo kit will have similar problems, but HKS has been doing turbo's forever so I'm guessing not and releasing this kit is maybe a response to the SC issues?

Also, maybe I'm blind but I don't see a blow off valve on the kit (which is actually a plus for me, never ran them on my drift cars)

I really love HKS though so i would probably pick it up even if it has minor flaws.

Let's keep this thread going! Would love to hear more info from people as it trickles down to us.

This turbo kit would be my first choice. I trust HKS with turbos.

Are you referring to the red intake manifold?

I think he is talking about the "air inlet duct" which feeds into the factory air box. My '13 is much more complicated and restrictive, so that is either a change for '17+ cars, or a new HKS snorkel. But HKS has already made two snorkels, neither of which have noise canisters on them, so I am inclined to think that is an OEM part.

It looks to me like a stock snorkel that was cut off before the last resonator

You have to trim the factory one in that way to clear the piping.
