~225whp and ~200lbft. Still tuning. But nice broad tq curve. Still running the stock front pipe, cat and exhaust. Only other mod besides the ESC is the OFH. This is different to the old E85 dyno results we had on my car when it was equipped with a front pipe, test-pipe and exhaust (LOUD!)

So with a full 2.5 inch exhaust, maybe an additional 5-10WHP and TQ might be possible?

Maybe 5-10lbft more torque. But probably much in the way of WHP gains (maybe 5whp all other things equal) since that is more of a compressor limitation than anything else.

E85 OTS Map dyno testing

Hi guys,
Spent several hours on the dyno this evening putting together a nice safe and drivable E85 map for the ESC 1.5+OFH. Worked out quite well. Test car only has Phantom ESC, OpenFlash Header and, of course, OpenFlash Tablet. Stock airbox, stock filter, stock front pipe, stock exhaust.

I'm happy with the nice flat torque curve as well as a lack of power roll-off up top. Makes for a very quick and responsive car. Still quite conservative and safe with AFR hitting mid to high 11s by peak hp (~7000rpm). Running leaner will give another few hp but it will sacrifice some safety margin that is necessary to have due to variances in cars, fuel, conditions

I'll drive our car around a bit more for testing purposes. Then I'll the tune out to those who want to test

Cheers,
Shiv

That curve looks good. nice and flat and smooth. Hey shiv would you mind in the next few days adding a standard E85 car without ESC? Would love to see the differences

makes me wonder what the tq300 on E85 with the 1.5con and full exhaust would have done ?

I don't think I would ever run E85 all the time because of the reduced mileage (and because it's at least an hour to the nearest station)... but with those numbers I'd sure as heck flash the ROM and try it out!

Looks very good. Thanks for the work, Shiv.

A couple questions - please bear with my ignorance.

I understand the flat foot shifting. How does the launch control work in the tune (both technically and practically speaking)? Why at 5500 rpm as opposed to 4500... or 6500?

Thanks.

I think I'm going to flash to the 2.0 now.
