S2K is also not a great comparison, because it was a dedicated sports car in the 30 to 35 large range. This is going to be an entry level vehicle and will certainly require less specialized parts to keep its cost down.

Now, if it handles like an S2K, I get the comparison, and then I will be really ecstatic.

That's a great point. And maybe that's why they haven't yet released any weight details on the concept car... because it's not exactly lightweight and they're still working on getting it lighter? Was really hoping to hear some weight specs out of the Tokyo show.

Well I know Toyota also designed the D4-S fuel injection system and collaborated with Aisin on designing both transmissions. Not sure if there would be Toyota logos there cause I haven't had the balls/need to get that deep into my car.

I know this threat is dreaded and people want to let it die...but all the talk about Subaru doing all the work and who designed what...everyone knows Toyota predominantly owns most of Subaru right? Like...it wasn't as much of a joint program as people think. Probably only a matter of time before we're selling Subaru's right next to Toyota's!

Ohh and LOL at the MTG card graphic...props!
