I have had mine done for 6 months, and they start to look bad (faded, chip/peeling) after about 3 months. I've redone the wheels twice now, and I would just go get them powder coated for $125 if I wasn't going to just get new wheels.

Ouch!!! I don't know what I was expecting but I was definitely hoping that it would hold up much better than that. I was about 8 hours total on the wheels between cleaning, masking painting, dry time and unmasking. To only get 3 months out of these and then have to re-do it, it's a little bit much.

Now that I know that I like them in gold, I think the next time I'll just paint them.

I am considering doing white with either a glossifier or a pearliser effect, but a bright metallic (similar to chrome or polished look) works well on Orange.

You could go bonkers and do Purple

Has anyone had to remount tires after Plastidipping? Does the Plastidip get peeled off in the process?

Maybe you'll get more time out of them now that winter is over. Plus you probably put more coats on than I did.

Awesome. Was just about to ask if anyone's done anything on an Argento. Thinking about going red myself.

I dipped my wheels yesterday black lol, i was so scared at first cause it felt cheap spray painting a 28k+ car you kno? Not like a cheap civic or something, but it turned out great! I think next time i will be spraying it blue.

Forgive me, I'm colorblind, but do those just look pink to anyone else?
