Ok should I wink at the camera for you or something too? All I am saying is it is possible, not that everyone should go out and do it. I am also saying that if there is ice on the road your snow tires aren't going to help you a whole lot more than any other tire.

go ahead and find a parking lot while you are at it! Itll give me an excuse to go to oklahoma for snow drifting like last year lol... I can only pray that it snows here in texas and it actually stays for more than a day.

But seriously i drove 300 miles last year just to play in the snow for 2 days and come back lol...

I found this picture somewhere in the web without any comments. I do know nothing about the circumstances. Sorry, I should have mentioned this in the original image post.

I woke up this morning to a snow covered car. Luckily I had put on my winter wheels/tires yesterday.

People who drive with summer tires in conditions like that deserve a lesson. Hope the person learns from it and buy good winter tires.

Where I come from, you would easily have lost your licence if driving with summer tires in those conditions.

The main reason I'm waiting until spring to take delivery of mine. I know how the GTO handles in the snow, and I already have a set of snow tires mounted on it.

The main reasson why I would buy the GT86 is because a proper RWD is so much more fun to drive in wet conditions. Snow conditions are the best way to enjoy a RWD car!

Apparently those were journalists, doing testing
If it made it into the article, saying 'don't do this', then it's all good.
Doesn't look like they had any kind of speed too.

That's pretty ignorant.. It all depends on how you drive. If you take your time and don't try to be hot shit you will be fine. I went though a nasty snow storm last week with NO issues.
