Anyone tried Hood Dampers
Has anyone tried the Gimmick Motorsports Hood Dampers? or similar? Is there a supporting vendor product alternative?
[ame="http://www.amazon.com/Gimmick-Motorsports-Black-Dampers-Subaru/dp/B009WVS7GM"]Amazon.com: Gimmick Motorsports Black Hood Dampers 2013 Subaru BRZ / Scion FR-S: Automotive[/ame] Eliminates the Hood Prop and supports the hood when open from both sides. Wondering what everyone thinks, worth installing!

@GrimmSpeed sells them! They're wonderfully designed, like the rest of GrimmSpeed's products.

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...mmspeed+damper I ordered my Perrin Exhaust from Mike and was VERY pleased with CZP. Will probably eventually get the Grimmspeed's myself when I have some money to burn.

YUp, @GrimmSpeed get my absolute recommendation. They work well, can easily be installed on your own and their customer service (one of my struts was bad out of the box, sent me a complete kit to fix the issue) is second to none.
Pay the little bit more for peace of mind and get Grimmspeed's struts |

I have Grimmspeed hood struts, they are an absolute must for anyone spending considerable time under their hood. Really quality parts and finish, and they're a 15 minute install.
