Found your problem. Fixing that is a lot cheaper than FI or a new car. Driving a car well despite its faults is part of the fun. Maybe that's just me, though.

I'm in Canada and FI was 5k.

And yes, it was worth it.

I never understand the endless complaints about lack of power this and that. Everything has it's limitations and compromises. I'm speaking from driving V6 Camry, 300 HP Lightly modded Supra Turbo, to a puny 106 HP Yaris the twins is more than sufficient enough for DD just have to know it's powerband strength.

The type of driving I do doesn't need forced induction and power isn't the end all be all. Would 50 more horsepower be nice? Sure! Do I want to void my factory warranty and drop $5k+ for that extra power? Nope. I'd rather buy a gently used Cayman S or Z06.

Blame the tool, never improve the operator's skill.

I'd think Jesus would have at least 1000hp.

Engine of Christ, tuned for you.

No, I really wouldn't wish for an STi in this situation because those still need to spool for the sweet torque right?

You must have had an automatic. I can jam some gears stomp some throttle and be up and moving pretty damn quick

I believe that most people who comment on the perceived 86 power issue are only familiar with high torque cars. These are mostly cars that operate in the low rpm range which make up a majority of passenger cars.

The 86 is a high rpm car. It shines in the upper reaches of the tach where most cars can only wish to approach.

Also, people keep forgetting that the 86 is a relatively inexpensive sportscar. You can't have everything.

That's a great deal, what FI brand was it? I've only been able to find the Edelbrock EForce Supercharger Stage 1 System for $8995 installed here in Calgary, AB. Canada.
