Oh my gawd!

I hate Stick(SMAW) welding! MIG is so much easier...

60-10 is manageable, 60-13 is impossible to draw a bead without sticking, and 70-10 is too hard to strike...


I can't wait to learn TIG though!

I have scars from overhead. 6010 was ok, 7018 was a bit worse, but prettier. As far as stick goes.

You do any old-school oxy-acetylene? TIG is pretty close to that, with out the 'popping' when you get too close.
