2017 BRZ Spacer and Coilover Help
Hey guys,
I'm looking to get some coilovers to lower the car and some spacers to space out the wheels to flush with the fender. I would like to avoid camber if possible. If I get the Ichiba V2's (20mm front and 25mm back) and the ST coilovers for the back, can I achieve this? If so, how much do I need to drop it? An inch? I am keeping stock wheels (for now) and getting some Michelin PS A/S 3+'s this weekend. So that's exciting . Is there anything else I could be missing to get these properly installed? I do not have the PP version. I am a super rookie so sorry in advance for the basic questions. Thanks for any help you can provide! Camber is a consequence of lowering, to correct camber you'll need camber plates or bolts in the front and lower control arms in the rear.
I would avoid those coils completely. The only coils I can wholeheartedly recommend in your price range are the Tein Flex A. Anything else won't be nearly as good.

Are you looking for adjustability for some reason? Mostly just a street driven car? If not then you may be better off looking at simple lowering springs. There are some very good quality lowering springs out there at less than the cost of a cheap set of coil overs. If you stay around an inch then you do not need to start messing with LCAs and such.
Great choice on tires! I love them for a DD car.

Agreed on lowering springs being a better option for DD, but ST makes a fine coilover IMO. They're essentially KW V1s.

I've ridden in cars with Flex A, BC extreme low, Ohlins, etc. My favorite for DD has been the Flex A, on track has been Ohlins. My car right now has OEM Sachs dampers, RCE Yellow springs, and Vorshlag camber plates. As for Flex A vs Z, the Flex A have a hydraulic bump stop which make them significantly more comfortable than the Flex Z.
