We are not sure why Nigal has not increased the price yet - We unfortunately had to raise the price 10.00 the margin is so thin on these. We offer a lot of parts like this as convenience items for the community . Is Badges and touch up paint. on the inside curve the leather was folding over on itself and looked like a crease/cut in the leather, Some forks see it as normal and would not question it. We brought it up with Toyota and they knew about the problem and have recently fixed the problem |

I will add that the crease isn't really noticable once installed since the handbrake is there and you're generally viewing from a top down angle getting into the car.

once we saw it we just wanted to question it - for me it was not cool for a customer spending over 200 for an armrest others at the shop thought it was okay - it was 50/50 if it was acceptable |

Used the template to locate just the 3 fixed locating studs, drilled for them and then used the frame to drill the rest of the holes. I did remove the padded top befre I'd done anything. This thread sure highlighted any pitfalls so my install was a piece of cake. Maybe an hour, tops. Now when I open the door and look in, things look like they should and when driving, feel like they should. Now, on to a catback exhaust but I'm going to try to find some "in the flesh" cars to listen to. My fear is that YouTube versions won't completely and accurately prepare me for the choice of manufacturer

One day I will able to justify this purchase. It really completes the interior of the car.

^ i'd just walk in to a canadian toyota dealer and provide part number to see if they can order it.
I will be inquiring for one when I go for my first oil change |

So I just called the dealership near my place. The Toyota PN PZ435-10340-00 will NOT work for USDM Toyota/Scion dealers, but if you ask, they do have the correct part. it was $230 plus tax near me.

I guess i will just ask them for the armrest part as opposed to providing the part number myself. Thanks! |

Due to some QC issues with the GT86 armrest I returned it. fteightysix's customer service was great. Unfortunately they were out of stock so I opted for a refund. Emailed me a return label and issued my refund shortly after they received the armrest.
I did an ebay search and found these 2 armrests. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sports-Line-...1ac3e5&vxp=mtr http://www.ebay.com/itm/Sports-Line-...a091f6&vxp=mtr Not the greatest but they're cheap, no drilling, and the color matches. I ordered the black suede strip one. The down side is that they ship from Korea and it takes ~4 weeks for delivery. The elastic band on the bottom goes over the cup holder. The armrest could be a little wider but it fits ok and doesn't move around. You do loose the use of the cup holders. Still by FAR my favorite mod I've done to the car. You will NOT regret drilling into your console to install this. It is amazing.
