im curious as to why so many people are going with cusco rear lower arms? is this to dial out negative camber when you lower the car? is this a big issue with these things? seems an expensive method, surely there are aftermarket camber bolts available?
car looks good mate, i have my wheels sitting in their boxes. havent even opened for a peak haha. |

because it's easiler to DIY fit than replacing bushes (eg. Whiteline rear upper camber bushes) plus the range of camber adjustment is more than just bushes.

When you fit just the offest bushes you are stuck with the camber they give you. Also the adjustable arms mean that you can get it same both sides.

They are spherical but sealed with a proper boot to keep the dirt out.

Here is some updated pics with the car lowered 25mm at the front and 30mm at the rear. The camber on the front is a touch too much.
Booked in for a wheel alignment at 8 am tomorrow. |

No its much better now.
I guess you lose that low speed lack of grip, but I am not looking for a really loose car. It changes the car a fair bit but certainly does not make it worse. I had it wheel aligned today, from the 30mm drop on the rear it had 25mm toe out. No wonder it felt like it wanted to weave all over the road. The toe adjustment is maxed out so I will raise it up at least 5mm to see if that reduces the toe out slightly. It still had 2.5 mm toe out after the alignment. |
