One thing I've learned in the past is that extras pretty much adds zero value to a car when it's time to trade in or sell. At best it'll make the car easier to sell.

That is true but it gets worse after September I find. And the saddest bit is, it isn't the learner drivers as much as the older ones! At least folks are heading away and schools are closing - helps a bit.
