Alignment questions

I searched and didnt find my answer but I am lowering on Eibach springs Sat and installing my wheels Tuesday. How long do you think I should wait to get an alignment? I've read a few thousand miles for springs to settle but that seems excessive. I will also be installing whiteline front camber bolts. If it matters my wheels are going to be 17x9 +35 and tires will be 245/40/17.

Thanks for any insight you can provide.

Everyone will have their opinion, I don't know how much in the way of real facts or evidence there really is on this subject.

Drive it a few days and then go, if you're planning a long trip get it done before you go. That's my advice.

Thank you. I'm going to NOPI next weekend so I might try to do it Thursday. That will give me a good bit of time and miles on the springs and about 200 OK wheels and tires.

Drive it for a day or two, try to get at least 100 miles on them, and then align asap.

I will be driving back from Columbia Sat. That's about 2 hours away. Should I get it aligned that day with the stock wheels? Other wise I'm going to Hilton Head Monday so I would have about 400-500 miles before I get it aligned.

Just remember you're probably gonna get excessive tire wear while your alignment is off...

If you don't mind about having uneven wear on stock tires, I wouldn't care. It's not like your tires will pop anytime soon.

My friend installed coilover and drove for like a month before he got alignment. Interestingly, his tires weren't that bad. He lowered about 1.5 inches.
