Got more than 500 off invoice without negotiating. Just kept up an email chain with my sales guy for a week or two, then he told me that if I was ready to come in and place the order he could give me a certain amount off invoice > 500. I came in, he confirmed it.

Rest is several months of waiting for the car to arrive and then enjoyable history.

Great! So how much did you pay for your BRZ w/ PP before TTL? Congrats on your new ride!

Prefer not to be very specific other than more than 500 off invoice and he added the PP for its invoice cost ($1060 instead of MSRP of 1180 I guess, or thereabouts).

thanks!

I have no idea on the process but believe it is something you have to register to get. Probably can find details on their website.

Sorry -- I wasn't very clear. I called up Subaru of America, and asked them about incentives for current Subaru owners, and then gave them my VIN (which had recently been sold), and they sent the coupon.

Both the Subaru Bucks and the Loyalty Coupon are paid by SOA (not the dealer), so I didn't mention them until after I negotiated a price, and the dealer had no problem with that...

They can also do it after the fact. I was already in the middle of the purchase and I contacted SOA and I told them that I didn't want to delay the process since I already had a booking to ship to the car to me. So they asked to send them a copy of the purchase agreement and they mailed me a check for $500.

Awesome info! I'll be sure to call SOA for my coupon. Still have ~$500 worth of Subaru bucks, too bad Chase canceled the card.

Thanks guys!

Btw, for those of you getting/got one with the PP, did you have to order it in advance or were you able to just pick one up from their existing inventory?

I know there aren't a lot of BRZs with PP at this time. Do you think these will be more readily available from dealer inventories in the future or will Subaru only build most of these as they get orders?

Do you remember how long the loyalty coupon was good for? I am not in a rush get a BRZ so it might take awhile for me to pull the trigger, trying to time it right.
