v4.03 for MY17 US MT (ZA1JK00C) has been giving more and more bucking after an upshift and a throttle, so I flashed back to stock.

Are there v2 or v3 available for this model? Not sure how to fix the bucking issue, but am on the search of it / learning how to modify values on RomRaider.

Did going back to stock help? Not sure I’ve seen anyone complain about bucking on OTS tunes.

I hate to be that guy...but can someone spoonfeed me the process of flashing my 2018 BRZ MT to the v4.03 e85 tune?

I have everything done except for the checksum modifications. Tried speaking with Steve, but I could not figure out where to move the def.zip from the first page to...nor where to add the below text to.

< rom> <romid> <xmlid> ZA1JK00G</xmlid>
<internalidaddress>8000</internalidaddress>
<internalidstring>ZA1JF00C</internalidstring>
<ecuid>A929703007</ecuid>
<year>2017</year>
<market>USDM</market>
<make>Subaru</make>
<model>BRZ</model>
<submodel>FA20</submodel>
<transmission>MT</transmission>
<memmodel>SH72531</memmodel>
<flashmethod>subarubrz</flashmethod>
<checksummodule>subarudbw</checksummodule>

Did anyone find out the address to log the rear O2 sensor voltage on A01G?
Interested in fitting a wideband at the rear and feeding the narrowband signal back to the ECU. OFT can read it, but I didn't find anything for OpenPort.
Maybe @ztan?

Ill say no as those feafures controlled by the abs\vsc module not the engine ecu, so tactrix doesnt flash that module also no one has decoed the firmwsrs for abs\vsc.module

Tactrix EcuFlash Info for BRZ 86 FRS Rom flash update and logging

The OFT does it by sending packets, not by changing the rom. You could write an app to send the CAN bus packets using the Tactrix to do all sorts of things but you can’t use RR to customize the rom and then flash it for a permanent fix.

If you want to get into CAN bus hacking you would be better of with an Arduino and a CAN bus shield. There aren’t any Linux drivers for the Tactrix and you don’t want a full windows machine in your car just to send some CAN bus packets.
