In Canada the equivalent to Limited is Sport-tech, which is what I have. It includes the the HK system and the nav here. I added short shifter, alarm shock sensor, red floor lighting, auto rear view compass mirror, Weathertech mats, trunk mat. So we're not that far apart in price after all, pretty much just the dollar exchange rate difference.

On Nasioc seems like everyone bought in the US for dealer invoice,, miraculously on a brand new low supply/high demand model. Here they wont budge on price, or if they do a bit, you will wait 2-3 months.

Anyone know if the 6 speed in the WRX is all new or just an older 5 speed with an extra gear? I was always terrified of breaking my tranny in my 07 WRX....this alone would keep me away and go STI instead.

Oh, I was referring to the STI limited. The regular STI still has leather but alcantara inserts without the red bolsters.

If the new wrx had the pedal position of the brz, and the shifter of the brz, and seats......it would be top tier!

Maybe Subaru should have had Toyota help consult on the WRX? Sorry I couldn't help myself.

I'm just going by what the brochure says. But perhaps the STI Limited has more significant amounts of red or something.

Anyone have input on the harshness of the ride for daily driving duties? A comparison with a twin would be perfect. All I read about is how much stiffer the chassis and springs are in the new WRX, so I'm wondering if the car will beat you to death, or is it noticeably softer than the twins? Hopefully I'll be able to test drive a WRX in the next few days, but I'm just curious in the meantime. With the bad winter and all the road construction in the area, my poor FR-S is beating up on me pretty good.

I'd say the ride stiffness is somewhat similar. The WRX has stiffer springs but more suspension travel. Its extremely well dialed in for handling with its uber stiff chassis. The sway bars are STI spec and the car doesnt lean in corners. Not harsh at all. For a cushier ride you need to look at the previous generation WRX.

Well, I took one on a test drive this morning. Very flat cornering, but it absorbs the bumps much better than my FR-S. On some very rough, undulating roads, the WRX really did a good job at isolating the passengers. Very pleased, I think I'll get one.

But instead Subaru may have had Toyota help consult on the Impreza's Corolla like body style.
