I would die to see a street car swapped like this one day.
All Joking and harassing aside:
The biggest issue I see with your plan is having 1 vehicle to serve 4 very different roles.

Each of the functions you mention: daily driver, drift, drag, and show all have unique requirements and trying to have one vehicle to do them all will compromise the performance in any one.

If you want to keep a 1000 whp, rear wheel drive, 2500lb car (assuming race weight) pointed the right way down a drag strip, your gonna want a suspension setup for straight line hook. For drift events your gonna want it stiff and loose, for show events your gonna want it on the ground, for Daily driving, your not gonna want any of the above

Of course you don't have to go all out in any one area but that fact that your goal is 1000 whp tells me your not looking for a comfy middle ground by any stretch of the imagination.

@mad_sb suspension is always adjustable, so that didn't really matter when I started this thread.

Since this is a theoretical build, I'm going to go ahead and say yes, everything you are planning makes sense and will work out just fine. If it was a practical built, we'd have to reexamine things. But don't worry, theory and practice are exactly the same, in theory of course, though not in practice.

Cut your power goal in half, learn to weld, throw out all the lists of off-the-shelf parts, and start learning how to build each and every system on the car from scratch, so you will know which systems to build, and which ones to leave intact.

Follow my advice, wait patiently for a cheap frs that some idiot who can't build an engine blows up.

You could have the project done by 23. Or earlier.

Plan the groundwork, not the finished project. The finished product will follow.

2 years from now, you will look at that list of parts like it's a joke.

This stuff is not complicated. It isn't rocket surgery.

What do I know?

I had the 500 hp goal in mind at first (before this thread). Simply swapping it was actually what I wanted. But yeah, I got greedy WAYYY too early (even if I didn't have the car yet HAHAHA) But yes, if I do ever follow this plan and get a BRZ, I'll take this into mind.

Now why would I do that? Despite some of the senseless crap I put up in this thread, I would know better than to get a new one for something like this.

@STV3 Well, a dream's a dream. Planning to start things small first, of course. Why would I go and do a build this extreme right away, right? I asked here first as well to see how realistic and plausible it was to do this project. And it seems at this rate I'd only get to do this in my 50's HAHAHA

Easy conversion. Everything just bolts up nicely.

Give me about $50,000 (send cash in the post, saves on any fees) and I'll be sure to get it all done for you in just a week

Look forward to your business....
