just bear in mind that the gt86 is pretty aggressive. be real with your expectations. there are a lot of people selling the car months into their ownership. of course these people are going say the gt86. they love it for the right reasons but keep in mind that there are many reasons not to like it. especially if you are the type to propose this comparison.

To me its either you get a luxury SUV or a sport car. Being a teenager, i'm rooting for the 86.

Just figure out what your priorities are first.
Driving pleasure, reliability, efficiency = GT86. Practicality, luxury, overall baller status = Cayenne No amount of steering feel in the Cayenne is going to make up for the fact that it's a big, heavy SUV. |

If you are getting the older version of Cayenne V6, why not just get a cheaper version of VW Touareg, which both share the same chassis and the same engine & drive-train, plus, you will still have spare money for a GT86.

I drove the cayenne all yesterday and today it felt really stable on the road. I mean like it wasnt shaking and even though its an SUV i felt stuck to the ground (of course i would coming from a toyota coralla as my first car :p). So basically my question is how stable is the 86 on the high and normal everyday use? because im going to have to go through a lot of highways when i go to University next year.
@Shutter @ZetaPerformance @zygrene @Kelbyat07 @fatoni Dont get me wrong, im in love with the GT86 and I've been dreaming about it for a year. the only reason im asking this is because ive never actually test drive it. |

The question is do you want a drivers car or do you want a people carrier. If u love to drive, want to take your car to a track and learn the intricacies of racing and/or think driving is more than just getting from point A to B then get the frs.
The cayenne is really just a people mover or if u just want to say you own a porsche |

lol just noticed saudi arabia as location. Just get the cayenne and mod the shit out of it. I'm sure you can get the money for that. Based on your post you seem to be doing mostly highway straight miles so the only thing that will really matter for fun in that kind of driving is power...

I have to assume you're not a car guy. If you were, you wouldn't be asking the question you did. The 86 will probably cause you too many hardships. You would have difficulty taking your friends any where. You would be limited in your carrying capacity. You would have to be careful of parking curbs, speed bumps and other road hazards. I would sugget you get the Porsche.

95 = year you were born in? That makes you 18 years old.
Get the Cayenne so when you crash, you won't die. |

I can tell you this. In my past I've owned a Mustang GT, Corvette, a Porsche 911 and two Miatas. I get more fun/pleasure out of driving my FR-S than any of those cars ever gave me. One fellow on this forum described it pretty well when he said your spine feels like the pivot point when you take a corner. I especially get a kick, in a sick sort of way, that the car carries the Scion badge (here in the States).
