Quick offset question

Hi guys

Looking at getting some Works D9R 18" rims

The shop has 8.5 +38 front and 9.5 +38 rear.

I usually see people with a larger offset on the rear when they do staggered.

Does having he same offset make sense in this case (staggered setup)?

Just wondering if it'll look weird.

Thanks a million for your advice all

Hey James, that should be a pretty good fit for the FRS. It's not a super aggressive setup but pretty sporty for the FRS / BRZ

Hey man, I'm sure you can find this somewhere in the wheel section, but I'm bored and here to help. I honestly think it will look just fine...

I have the BBS CH-R 18x8 +38 and at stock height they perfectly ride the line between poke in the front and tuck in the rear. It really all depends on how low you go and what amount of camber. I dropped about 2.75 inches, and the front sits just about flush, but the rears tucked in about 22mm due to my aggressive camber setup for AutoX.

For everyday street use, I have Perrin 25mm spacers in the rear, and it gives it a perfect profile IMO. Really depends on the rest of the setup, but if you are running between stock height and -1" you should be golden.

For reference, the pic shows how it sat before adding any significant camber or the rear spacers.

Thank you good people of BPAuto! Picked them up off of member bobsacamenoh for too good a deal to pass up. They weren't quite the style I was originally planning on, but as soon as I mounted them I fell in love.
