We used to call it that in the navy. Cranial rectumitis is a medical condition resulting from having one's head up one's ass.

The question is what exactly are you going to measure?

Kale intake per hour
Ratio of gears in vehicle versus gears in bicycle (it's always 1:1, though)
Tightness of jeans
Acceptable price to pay for a cup of coffee ($5 minimum)
Time estimate of how long before something was cool that you had liked it

My distain for the sheer ugliness of it and distain for the lack of gauges in your normal driving scan range?

Sorry, do not want! Does it at least have a heads-up display?

Ahh, but the fun you can have... If my wife ends up with one I'm going to get a NOS sticker I can put on the car when I drive it. Maybe some camshaft and clutch stickers too.

Volt or c-max plug in hybrid are more likely at the moment... Once the current car goes. Every so often we need more range into places with no power (and my car isn't always an option) but all the city driving would be easily managed in the electric only range. The expensive part will be adding to the breaker box in the house, we don't have enough open slots.

It's another way to push their autonomous driving agenda.

As long as there are places to drive the old way, I'm in favor. Needs ironing out a bit first.. But so much stupid could be avoided.

And... I'd make it a Weber for obscure humor.

Yeah I mean for the people who suck at driving and/or just don't care for it because it's a means to an end to get A to B it's better to have them just with a cheauffuer (robotic or Uber or whatever). I love to drive manually even for the sake of driving and I hope to have that freedom at least grandfathered in until the day I die. Still, I'm not against having the option of degrees of automation up to full automation at the touch of a button. Say for instance I have paperwork to do and the traffic sucks or whatnot. I would want zero liability though in full-auto. Either I drive (even slighty assited like adaptive cruise control or stability control for example) or the car drives but I am not going to be responsible for the car in full-auto mode. I should be able to be drunk in the backseat and not have to pay for shit if the car crashes itself same as if I had limo driver. That is the big grey area if you own an automated car in your own name though who is responisble when it crashes. Like full-auto Uber sounds great to me but you're not going sell me on sitting in the front seat of a fully automated car so I can be held liable when it fucks up. I have to drive like a badass just so I'm paying attention in a normal car so there is no way I'm going ride in a full-auto car that's going the exact speedlimit for hours and not be playing angrybirds or sending emails on my phone.

This ^^^

With appropriate attention finally being given to distracted driving issues, manufacturers keep putting bigger, shinier non-tactile touch screen bullshit on the dashboard. smh

The driver will need something to look at during auto-driver mode... Does it stowaway during take off and landing?

Bought a pressure washer today. A little 1600psi one from Simoniz. Super compact and comes with a foam cannon. Works beautifully
