Removing Condensation from Valenti tails?
Hello, I’ve been looking around for a fix for condensation in Valenti tails. I’ve found a few old threads but all the responses talk about how to PREVENT future condensation; I need to get rid of the condensation. Any and all help would be very appreciated

How much condensation are we talking about? Smaller silica gel packs can be very useful for removing smaller quantities of condensation - but obviously the caveat is that silica gel can only absorb a certain quantity of water before the pellets become saturated and need to be either recharged or replaced.

I was told by a friend not to tighten up the bolts too much on the valenti's. Because it'll cause gasket to get squished into too much thus condensation can seep in. Just my two cents!

Drill a small hole in an inconspicuous section on the top of the taillight. Heat the light with a blow dryer so the moisture is forced out. Fill the hole with a little dab of silicone caulking. If more shows up peal the caulking off the hole and repeat.

I still have factory tail lights on my 2013. In my case I just loosened the turn signal light. Fixed it in no time. I just leave it loosened now. No water buildup.

I drilled a tiny hole (1/32) at the lowest point of the housing of each of my stock taillights which both had water pooling. Didn't bother sealing the holes after. Now my tails are always bone dry. YMMV.

Kind of resurrecting this thread because 7 months later aaaand my lights condensates again. Pretty bad this time (it’s always my left light that gets condensates, right is perfectly fine). There was a good pool of water in there, shook as much as I could out then threw them in the oven for a bit. Now there’s just some droplets on the face of the light. I’ll try the drilling method someone mentioned, and will definitely be getting gasket ninja soon.

I don't see how this is an issue. Doesn't rice naturally absorb moisture?

Whenever I get some condensation in my tail lights I just set them on one of the heat ducts and they are dried out by morning.
