There was a small Scion meet in BR tonight, four FR-S were there at Twin Peaks, last second kind of thing.

I've had my car 53 hours now. I got wheels in hour 45

I need some Sun to really see this paint and some dry to have fun. It's been raining nearly nonstop since I picked it up and supposed to rain for a while to come. Yay!

Nope but I'm at my first day of my new job. Same stuff going through all these briefings.

HERE for more info.
Weather is looking great for the event this weekend. 66 degrees, clear sky, sunny, 0% chance of rain. I've been out on business all week, and I've been stuck with a Dodge Avenger for a rental car. I'm ready to drive my BRZ in anger this weekend!

Welcome and congrats on your purchase! What color did you get? Auto or manual? Post up some pics if you got them!

Mine came from Northshore Scion too, good guys over there. This is my 3rd card from them. I'm on the Northshore up in Folsom, maybe I'll see you around. Welcome to the club!

I can't say the same about them... I will never go back there.

Also, if anyone in the BR or Northshore area is wanting to buy a Cusco strut bar, I have mine up for sale. It has the MCB with it as well.

That's unfortunate to hear. Sales or Service issue? I haven't used their service in a long time, but the wife brings her Prius over there for oil changes and such, no issues. I used to have my '08 xB serviced there without issue as well.

Sales has always been good to me. D.J. used to be my contact there, but he's an Austin now. For sales, Roger or Adrian is who I deal with now. Jimmy in finance is also a good guy.

I'll have an Airaid with <500mi for sale this weekend, cheap, if anyone wants. I've had 0 issues with it, but a vendor I work with gave me an aFe Takeda for Christmas and honestly I just like how it looks better. The Airaid is too flashy for my taste.

It was the service dept. that caused my headaches. Toyota of Slidell is far superior. The sales were, well, salespersons.

I'm glad you had a good experience though.

On another note, northshore meet anyone?

Baldwin in Covington has a SWP Limited for sale.. If I'm correct, it is the one the transport wrecked before delivering and they repaired it now.
